UPCOMING CROPS and RETREATS


Here are a few of the crops that are coming up! Be sure to register for the ones that you want soon...before they are sold out!

FALL RETREAT WEEKEND

When: September 6th-8th, 2019
Location: SANTA'S LODGE in Santa Claus, IN.  (just a quick 20 minute drive to the store!)
Price: $175 or Early Bird Special of $150 for Friday beginning at 3pm and concluding on Sunday at 3pm!  Want the Early Bird Special and save $25?  All you need to do is have your retreat balance paid by JULY 31st.. 
  • Pay your balance in full anytime from July 18th-July 31st for only $150 and save $25 on the cost of the event.
    July 31st the event cost goes back to $175.
Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of $60 is due upon sign-up, with the balance being paid TWO WEEKS BEFORE (8/23/19).  

What all you get:  4 meals (Friday Dinner catered in, Saturday Lunch from Santa's Lodge & Dinner catered in, and One Catered Breakfast). Please note- meals have not been finalized yet.  A 6-8 ft table.  A Goody Bag.  A SUPER CUTE, Exclusive Shirt (Sizes 2x and up will have an added $2-$4 Charge).  Product Demos.  & of course...Lots of Prizes!

Lodging-Rooms are available for $79.99 plus tax per night if you decide to stay at the on-site hotel.
Call the hotel direct to book your room at 812-937-1902.  Make sure you Mention you are with the Doodlebug Retreat!!  The Lodge will still have Holiday World Rates, so you have to be with the retreat to get the reduced price for the weekend!  

Need a Roommate...or two??  We have set up a RETREAT EVENT page on Facebook, just for this retreat!  This is a GREAT place to post if you are looking for someone to share a room with!   We always have gals looking for a roomie to split the costs with...and you are in there SOOO very little anyway!  
Don't want the fun to end?  Stay an extra day!!  
If we have enough people interested, we will rent the room an extra day so you can continue to crop till you drop!!..but if you are interested in doing that, let us know and if we get enough people to pay for that extra day, we will book the room for the remainder of Sunday and then Monday until around lunch! The cost for that would be $20 per person and we would need to have at least 10 stay to book the room!

Fine Print....Please be aware that The Doodlebug will not be able to stay for this extra day, but we were able to get the room reserved for you...so behave yourselves!! Bahahah! We will also need at least 10 people to sign up for this option for us to be able to cover the room fee.


Games/ Activities:
Guessing Game– Once again we will have our big supply guessing game, where everyone who wants to participate bring in one or more of the item (Supply will be announced closer to retreat time).   The person who guesses closest without going over wins the entire stash!!!
Scrap fairy Visits–Be on the lookout, once again, for that sneaky Scrap fairy!  The Scrap fairy will show up when you least expect it and she always comes bearing gifts! 
Technique Challenges– The Doodlebug Girls have started a list of techniques to challenge your scrapbooking brain, each challenge you complete (one per layout) gets you closer to getting a ticket and more tickets equals more prizes!!  So complete as many Techniques as you can to earn those tickets!
Classes–There will be optional classes offered throughout the weekend to help you learn a few new tricks and get even more done!

Common Questions Asked-->

Do we get out own table?....YES,  you get your own 6-8ft table to FILL UP with all of your crafty goods!
Can we leave our stuff sit out all weekend?...YES, no packing up until Sunday!  Don't worry, we lock the room each night so your crafty stash is SAFE!
Can I bring something that needs to be plugged in?...YES, but make sure you bring an extension cord!!  We are in a banquet room, so the plug-ins are far along the walls and we cannot guarantee you a spot by a plug in.  We suggest you bring a surge protector, an extension cord and painters tape for the cord!
Does the Doodlebug bring any tools?  We do bring a few basic tools from the store for everyone to use and share....these include our big shot machine, some dies and a few punches.  Please note, we do not bring any electronic cutters, so if you have one you may want to pack it!
Does the Celebration Room  have WiFi?...YES!!
Are there snacks provided?...YES- by all the croppers!!  When you bring snacks and drinks to share...you get a few extra prize tickets!!
Will the Photo Booth be back?...WHY YES IT WILL!!!  
Will the Doodlebug set up a little store at the retreat?  Yes we will!!  The store is also open for regular business hours that weekend too!  and YES...you will get a coupon to use at the Jasper store!  If you are traveling from far for the retreat, please plan to stop by and we will honor your coupon before you even get to the retreat to get it!
Will we get a coupon for the store like we usually do?? YES you will!! You will get a coupon for 15% off to use at the Jasper store all weekend long.


What if I need to cancel?


Important Retreat Policy Information:

Your registration serves as confirmation that you have read and understand our policies.

Deposits & Payments:  A $60 deposit is necessary to confirm your reservation and is non-refundable.  All balances are due 2 weeks prior to event.  Payments can be made on the balance at your convenience up until the due date of two weeks before the retreat.  Registrations are processed on a first-come, first-serve basis with payment.  Please understand that we cannot 'hold' spots for you or your friends without registration & the event deposit being made.  If you are registering for your friends with deposit, please make sure to let us know their name, phone and email address so they will receive all event correspondence.  


Cancellation & Refund Policy:
  Refunds are permitted up to 15 days in advance of the event for a refund of fees paid, less the deposit.  Cancellations after the 14 day cut off will receive a refund in the form of a Store Credit only. (again, less the deposit)  All cancellations or transfers must be notified in writing to doodlebug@thedoodlebuginc.com.  Due to contracted commitments to the hotel, catering & event space, refunds cannot be issued for cancellations received less than 7 days prior to the event, unless you are able to find a replacement for you spot.  There will absolutely be no refunds for no-shows.  There are no refunds for weather including travel delays related to weather. 

General Policies:  By registering and agreeing to these terms, you hereby release The Doodlebug, Inc and its employees from any and all liability, claims, damages, losses, lawsuits, costs and expenses of any kind which arise out of or result from attendance in a Doodlebug, Inc event.
